[Flaptekst]: Jessie is a girl from the Noord-Oostpolder in the Netherlands. Her regular life is over when her mother decides to abandon her and her dad. Then someone kidnaps Jessie, and from there on things only seem to be getting worse. But gradually she realizes, that with the help of some new friends, she is able to survive. It turns out, that Jessie has all the makings of a natural leader. She discovers too, that she is a true problem solver. The girl from the beginning of the story is gradually turning into a young woman. This story will take you through parts of Europe and then back to the Netherlands. The story is fictional. Most of the places mentioned do exist. This is a fast-paced story that will keep you reading until the end.
