This is the first practitioner's work on the new rule (19.III) on Group Litigation Orders under the Civil Procedure Rules. It provides analysis of the rule and relates it to the experience that has been gained in the major multi-party actions of recent years, setting out the lessons to be learned in terms of how such actions should be managed.
