This book analyses multiple issues relating to the vulnerabilities of the informal sector workers in South Asia through a comparison of existing social protection policies in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh, and examines to what extent respective governments and policies have been effective in addressing the needs of this section of population.
