The supermicrosurgical procedure known as Lymphaticovenular Anastomosis, or LVA, is a minimally invasive physiologic surgical treatment of lymphedema, which has gained attention worldwide in recent years as technical limitations were overcome and surgical indications can now apply to a larger set of patients with lymphatic disease.
