When Carrig Anderson was a young boy his parents, Peter and Annie, brought him from Northern Ireland to New Zealand, to a farm north of Christchurch. While Carrig was at high school his parents were killed in a head-on collision. Suddenly, a lonely orphan, he was forced to reach out to other people, who gave him the courage and strength to go on.
